Collection of photographs taken at the 2006 RAF Waddington Airshow in Lincolshire.These photographs were taken on the Saturday of the England - Portugal World Cup Quarter final. The weather was hot again as it was in 2005, and the visibility was good. These are the detail photographs that I took using my digital camera. It has a 38-200mm lens and 5MP sensor, so it is great for the static displays but is not up to photographing the flypasts. With this in mind I also took a stills camera with a 400mm lens, the aircraft flying photos are all in the format of slides - which I may scan to digital to display later - time permitting!
